of <h1>DGFT Takes Over Licensing Amid Regional Strike; Ensures Continuity in Export/Import Applications and Advance Licence Processing.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a circular addressing disruptions in the processing of export and import applications due to a strike at Regional Licensing Authorities. To prevent adverse effects on export activities, it has been decided that licenses will temporarily be issued by the DGFT headquarters. Additionally, exports made from the date of application receipt for an Advance Licence will be accepted towards fulfilling export obligations. Regional Licensing Authorities are instructed to ensure applications are accepted and meetings like the Regional Advance Licensing Committee and EPCG Committee are held as scheduled to maintain normal operations.
