of <h1>India Revises Sugar Export Policy: Removes Quota Year for 10,200 Metric Tons to EEC, Keeps Other Conditions Same.</h1> The circular issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, addresses the export of sugar from the free sale quota for the years 1997-98 and 1998-99. It amends the description in the policy regarding the export of 10,200 metric tons of white sugar to the European Economic Community (EEC), removing the quota year specification. All other conditions from the previous policy circular dated April 24, 1998, remain unchanged. The circular is directed to customs and licensing authorities and other relevant parties.
