of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: Paragraph 4.19.2 Deleted, 4.19.3 Amended; TRA Required for Imports via Different Ports.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Paragraph 4.19.2 has been deleted, and Paragraph 4.19.3 has been amended. The amendment specifies that for imports from locations other than the Port of Registration, a Transfer Release Advice (TRA) will be issued by the Customs Authority at the Port of Registration to the Customs Authority at the Port of Import. These changes are made in the public interest.
