of <h1>New Circular Allows Exemption from Pre-Authentication for Liquid Gas Clearance; Valid for One Year, Subject to Review.</h1> The circular modifies the procedure for the removal of liquid gases under Circular No. 569/6/2001-CX by allowing exemptions from pre-authentication of clearance documents by Central Excise Officers. Taxpayers can request this exemption from their jurisdictional Assistant or Deputy Commissioner if their internal control systems are deemed adequate. This exemption is valid for one year and can be revoked if misused. The CBEC Manual of Supplementary Instructions will be updated to reflect this change. The circular aims to facilitate compliance while maintaining oversight, and relevant parties are informed of these changes.
