of <h1>Exim Bank Grants $17.34M Credit Line to Laos for Irrigation Projects; 60% Sourcing from India Required.</h1> Exim Bank has established a Line of Credit (LOC) of USD 17.34 million with the Government of Lao People's Democratic Republic to finance eligible goods and services, including consultancy, from India. This LOC supports the development of irrigation schemes in the Chamassack Province, executed by Water and Power Consultancy Services (India) Limited. At least 60% of the contract value must be sourced from India, while up to 40% can be procured externally. The agreement is effective from July 24, 2009, with specific timelines for Letters of Credit and disbursement. No agency commission is payable under this LOC.
