License holders who were granted import licenses under a previous circular are now eligible to apply for an additional 25% of their original quota for the year 2009-10. This decision follows representations from the trade and industry sectors requesting the release of the remaining 75% quota for 2009-10. License holders must apply to the relevant authorities to enhance their import quantities, adhering to all applicable conditions. This directive has been approved by the competent authority.
