of <h1>Bank of Baroda's City Back Office Branch in New Delhi is now the Focal Point for Excise and Service Tax.</h1> The Chief Controller of Accounts, CBEC, has designated the City Back Office Branch of Bank of Baroda in New Delhi as the new Focal Point Branch for collecting Central Excise Duties and Service Tax, replacing the Parliament Street Branch. This change, effective from May 1, 2009, applies to the Central Excise Commissionerates, Service Tax Commissionerate, and LTU Commissionerate in Delhi. The Parliament Street Branch will continue as a collection point. All trade associations and relevant parties are urged to publicize this update widely.
