of <h1>Commerce Ministry Restructures Licensing: New DES IV Section, Redistribution of NMS & ZALC Duties for Efficiency.</h1> The Ministry of Commerce & Industry's Department of Commerce has reorganized its licensing sections to enhance administrative efficiency and expedite case processing. A new section, DES IV, has been established, and the monitoring duties of NMS I & II have been reassigned across DES I to IV. The ZALC section's responsibilities are now divided between ZALC I and ZALC II. Applications related to the VKGUY scheme, except those under a specific policy paragraph, will be managed by the DES sections. The changes, effective August 1, 2009, also specify the alphabetical distribution of work among DES and ZALC sections.
