of <h1>Nationwide Implementation of Revised Modvat Credit Procedure for Countervailing Duty on Imports Announced by Finance Ministry.</h1> The Ministry of Finance issued a circular regarding Modvat credit for countervailing duty paid on imported goods. Initially, a revised procedure was implemented at the Bombay Customs House as per a letter dated April 13, 1987. Due to challenges faced by trade and industry at other customs locations, the revised procedure will now be applied across all customs houses.
