of <h1>Exporters of Blended Yarns Temporarily Exempt from Labeling Manufacturer Details for FY 1988-89.</h1> The Central Excise authority has decided to temporarily exempt exporters of certain blended yarns, including Polyester/Cotton, Polyester/Viscose, Viscose/Cotton, and 100% Viscose spun yarn, from the requirement to mark the manufacturer's name and address on export packages. This exemption, requested by the Southern India Mills Association, is granted on an experimental basis for the fiscal year 1988-89. A report on the implementation of these instructions is required by April 7, 1989. For all other commodities, existing instructions must be followed. Field formations are to be informed of these changes.
