        <h1>E-way bill compliance: noncompliance now triggers legal action and mobile checks must be completed within limited stop durations.</h1> Directives require mobile team inspections to conclude primary checks within two hours and forbid harassment. Administrative concession allowing on site e way bill download for consignments above a prior monetary threshold is withdrawn; transport found without an e way bill will now attract legal action. For consignments below the threshold moved on prescribed forms, officers must obtain and retain photocopies or duplicate tax invoices/bills of supply, allow vehicles to proceed, and ensure secure preservation and departmental website feeding of collected documents.
