Advance clearance may be granted pending certain documents provided the remaining listed certificates are submitted within seven days of sailing, failing which action under the Customs Act and SCMTR will follow. Manual issuance continues until 02.03.2026 and the online Port Clearance will include downloadable certificates with QR code verification, edit/extension/closure workflows, and prescribed operational timelines.
