of <h1>Anti-dumping duty on titanium dioxide from China PR limited to specified uses; customs exempt qualifying consignments on declaration</h1> Anti-dumping duty has been imposed on imports of titanium dioxide originating in or exported from China PR, applicable only to specified end uses and excluding titanium dioxide intended for food, pharmaceuticals, skin-care, textiles, fibres, and nano/ultra-fine varieties. Customs systems have been updated to exempt qualifying consignments when importers file a prescribed declaration in the bill of entry stating the excluded end use and undertaking liability for duty and interest if goods are diverted. Assessment officers will receive system alerts when the exemption declaration is made; stakeholders and officers are instructed to follow the updated procedure.
