of <h1>Repeat identity verification orders withdrawn for individuals already verified; follow Customs Verification of Identity and Compliance Regulations 2021, Regulation 4</h1> Standing instructions requiring repeat identity verification for persons already verified at another port are withdrawn as they conflict with the Customs (Verification of Identity and Compliance) Regulations, 2021. Pending applications will be disposed accordingly. Where an individual has previously engaged in import/export at another customs station, no further verification is normally required; the customs broker or self-clearing importer/exporter should notify the relevant deputy/assistant commissioner if assistance is needed. Persons newly engaging in import/export after the Regulations' commencement must submit the documents specified in Regulation 4 within 30 days. Any implementation difficulties should be reported to the commissionerate.
