of <h1>From April 15, 2020 customs eDocuments emailed automatically with digitally signed encrypted QR codes verifiable via ICETRAK app</h1> From 15.04.2020 final PDF copies of Bills of Entry and eGatepasses will be emailed automatically on out-of-charge (OOC); these eDocuments include secure digitally signed, encrypted QR codes whose authenticity and current version can be verified via the ICETRAK mobile app and the ICEGATE Document Status enquiry. eGatepass QR codes are issued per container (or show B/L and package totals for non-containerized cargo) and are for Customs verification, while EDI OOC messages will continue to be transmitted to registered custodians via MFTP. Custodians should register on ICEGATE/MFTP; physical signing/collection of documents should be discontinued and trade should be informed.
