From 5 June 2024, duty drawback payments credited directly to exporters' PFMS-linked bank accounts; cheques and scrolls stop
With effect from 5 June 2024, duty drawback payments will be disbursed into exporters' PFMS-linked bank accounts; printing of drawback scrolls and issuance of consolidated cheques will cease. Customs Automated System will automatically route scrolls to a central nodal eDDO, then to the nodal ePAO for approval and crediting to exporters' accounts. Before 5 June, all prior scrolls must be processed and cheques issued, the last cheque number must be reported to the PAO and authorised bank, and unused cheque books returned or their retention for refunds recorded. Difficulties should be notified to the designated drawback email.
