Implementation Framework for Transshipment of Import and Export Cargo between Gangavaram Port and Other Seaports in ICES

ICES enables sea-to-sea transshipment of FCL import/export containers between gateway port and Visakhapatnam CFSs with TP, ETP procedures

Implementation of ICES modules enables sea-to-sea transshipment of FCL import and export containers between the gateway port (Gangavaram) and Visakhapatnam CFSs. For imports, IGM must declare transshipment details, the carrier files a transshipment (TP) request matched to IGM data, superintendent issues TP number, custodian endorses arrival report on container delivery, and Bill of Entry captures gateway IGM parameters. For exports, shipping bills are filed at Visakhapatnam CFS, cargo moves via ETP to the gateway port where preventive checks and 'Allowed for shipment' entry permit EGM filing; ETP serves for drawback while IGST refund follows gateway EGM closure. Issues to be reported to the customs EDI office.
