of <h1>Pan-India mandatory Sea Departure Manifest (SDM) and Sea Departure Notification (SDN) implementation begins 26 August 2025; stakeholders to follow guidelines</h1> Pan-India mandatory implementation of the Sea Departure Manifest (SDM) and Sea Departure Notification (SDN) will commence on 26 August 2025, following phased rollouts that began 29 April 2025 at select ports and mandatory use at major ports. Stakeholders are advised to consult the Message Implementation Guidelines and SCMTR advisories, attend planned training (including an online session on 22 August 2025), and direct technical or data-entry issues to the Directorate General of Systems helpdesks for resolution. Early errors were largely due to incorrect data entry and noncompliance with prescribed formats and data structures.
