of <h1>Deadline Extended to April 30, 2017, for Uploading Appeal Data Under Income Tax Rules</h1> A deadline extension until April 30, 2017, is granted for uploading accurate appeal pendency and disposal data by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) on the Income Tax Business Application platform. This extension follows the initial deadline of April 21, 2017, due to ongoing efforts to expedite data entry and remove duplicate appeals, with approximately 24,000 appeals pending upload. Commissioners who have not yet completed uploading disposals for the fiscal year 2016-17 or removed duplicates are instructed to do so immediately by the new deadline to ensure stabilization of the ITBA module. The directive is issued with high priority and approval from the relevant authority.
