PMGKY declarations: designated income-tax field offices remain open until midnight to facilitate late filing of declarations. The Central Board of Direct Taxes directed that designated field offices of the Income Tax Department remain open until midnight on 31 March 2017 to receive declarations under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, applying to all jurisdictions to facilitate filing after normal office hours.
