of <h1>NOCs for imported alcoholic beverages now valid for 365 days, re-validation possible through visual inspection</h1> The customs authority issued instructions regarding extension of validity for No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for imported alcoholic beverages. Following a regulatory authority order, NOCs for alcoholic beverages bottled in origin and bulk containing more than 10% alcohol without expiry dates shall have 365-day validity under import regulations. For consignments remaining at ports beyond 365 days, re-validation may be conducted through visual inspection upon payment of inspection fees. The revision aims to facilitate business operations while maintaining food safety standards for imported products. Officers are directed to implement these provisions and report any implementation difficulties.
