The new functionality replaces manual TR-6 payments, allowing registered users to generate self-initiated challans for past import/export transactions. Users can make payments through internet banking, NEFT/RTGS, or payment aggregators. Manual TR-6 challans will be phased out by December 31, 2024, with the aim of digitalizing and streamlining payment processes.
