of <h1>Registered FINnet Users Directed to Access Both Nodes Regularly to Download Pending Suspicious Transaction Reports</h1> The circular addresses concerns regarding registered users of FINnet in Directorate General of Income Tax (Investigation) offices not regularly accessing and downloading Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs). Each DGIT office has been allotted two registered nodes for STR dissemination, but many users are unaware of the second node. The memorandum directs registered users to regularly access both nodes to address the significant backlog of pending STRs. It instructs that node access details should be included in handover notes when users change, and any user changes must be promptly reported in the prescribed format.
