of <h1>Income Tax Application Updated: New Category for Tax Evasion Petitions Introduced, Effective October 25, 2016.</h1> The Directorate of Income Tax (System) has updated the Investigation Module of the Income Tax Business Application (ITBA) to enhance the processing of Tax Evasion Petitions (TEPs). Effective from October 25, 2016, a new category, Category D, has been introduced, replacing the older categories for TEPs received after March 31, 2017. A new version of the TEP Excel Utility, version 1.1, has been released for uploading pending TEPs. Users can access training materials and contact the helpdesk for support, with detailed instructions available in prior communications.
