of <h1>CBDT Mandates Online Information Requests to FIU-IND, Ending Paper Submissions from November 1, 2015</h1> The circular from the Central Board of Direct Taxes announces the transition from paper-based to online requests for information from the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) India, effective from November 1, 2015. It encloses the minutes from a meeting held on September 16, 2015, between FIU and Law Enforcement Agencies, highlighting changes in the FINex module to enhance information exchange and introduce new functionalities. All future requests to FIU-IND must be submitted online, as paper-based requests will no longer be accepted post-October 31, 2015. This directive is approved by the Member (Investigation), CBDT.
