of <h1>Exporters Must Submit e-BRCs for Proof of Export Sale Proceeds by Feb 28, 2025; Risk Drawback Recovery</h1> The Customs Department in Chennai has announced a compliance drive from January 29 to February 28, 2025, requiring exporters to submit proof of realization of export sale proceeds. Exporters must provide electronic Bank Realisation Certificates (e-BRCs) for shipping bills listed on the Chennai Customs website. Failure to realize export proceeds may result in the recovery of drawback amounts with interest. Exporters can verify and update realization details through the ICEGATE Portal. The BRC Section will prioritize case closures for valid submissions, and any implementation issues should be reported to the Deputy Commissioner, BRC Cell, Chennai.
