of <h1>Customs waives late fees for Bills of Entry due to ICEGATE outage during 2025-26 Union Budget update.</h1> The Customs Department has issued a public notice waiving late fees for Bills of Entry due to a system outage during the Union Budget update for 2025-26. The ICEGATE system was unavailable for filing Bills of Entry from 11:00 AM on February 1, 2025, until it was restored on February 2, 2025. Consequently, late fees will not be imposed for Bills of Entry filed for vessels granted entry inward at INTUT1 on or before February 2, 2025. This notice serves as a standing order for department officers and staff. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs.
