of <h1>Board Approves New SEZ in Bihar, Ratifies Minutes, and Extends Validity for Some Approvals at 121st Meeting.</h1> The 121st meeting of the Board of Approval for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) took place on 31st July 2024 in New Delhi. Key decisions included ratifying previous meeting minutes, approving a new multi-sector SEZ in Bihar, and permitting the conversion of processing areas into non-processing areas for certain developers. The Board also approved and cancelled several co-developer statuses, recommended full or partial de-notification of specific SEZs, and extended validity periods for some SEZ approvals. Additionally, a proposal for importing and exporting sandalwood was deferred, and a new SEZ in West Champaran, Bihar, was approved.
