of <h1>Bengaluru Customs Introduces IGST Refund Mechanism for Postal Exports; Exporters to Register Bank Accounts on ICES/ICEGATE.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs in Bengaluru announces a forthcoming mechanism for refunding IGST on exports through foreign post offices. Exporters will provide necessary details for IGST refunds when filing postal bills of exports. These details will be integrated into the ICES System post-export for GST verification and scroll preparation, similar to courier exports. Postal exporters must register their bank accounts on ICES/ICEGATE, as detailed in the 2018 Advisory Annexure. Trade associations are urged to disseminate this information.
