of <h1>Deadline Extended: FCRA Account Holders Have Until June 30, 2021, to Open SBI Account Due to COVID-19 Challenges.</h1> The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the deadline for existing Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) account holders to open their 'FCRA Account' at the New Delhi Main Branch of the State Bank of India until June 30, 2021. After this date, foreign contributions can only be received in this designated account. This extension, from the original deadline of March 31, 2021, is due to COVID-19-related challenges and aims to facilitate a smooth transition for NGOs to comply with the amended FCRA regulations.
