        <h1>Automation in Customs Rules 2022 for EOUs: New Implementation Date Set for September 25, 2024.</h1> The circular addresses the implementation of automation in the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty or for Specified End Use) Rules, 2022, specifically for Export Oriented Units (EOUs). It acknowledges issues faced by EOUs in registration, generating IIN details, and utilizing continuity bonds, which could delay goods clearance. In response to stakeholder requests, the Board has decided to implement the provisions of Circular No. 11/2024-Customs dated 25.08.2024 for EOUs starting from 25.09.2024. Relevant public notices should be issued for guidance, and any difficulties encountered should be reported to the Board.
