of <h1>India Extends FCRA Registration Validity for Entities Pending Renewal Until March 31, 2022, u/r 12.</h1> The Government of India has extended the validity of FCRA registration certificates for entities whose certificates were set to expire between September 29, 2020, and March 31, 2022. This extension applies to entities that have applied for renewal on the FCRA portal in compliance with Rule 12 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011, before their certificates expired. The extension is valid until March 31, 2022, or until the renewal application is processed, whichever comes first. If a renewal application is refused, the certificate's validity ends on the refusal date, prohibiting further receipt or use of foreign contributions.
