of <h1>Electronic Test Memos Mandatory for CRCL from July 2021: Streamlining Sample Testing and Reducing Costs.</h1> Attention is drawn to the implementation of the CRCL Module for forwarding samples using electronic Test Memos to the Central Revenues Control Laboratory (CRCL) and other Revenue Laboratories. This module, effective from July 1, 2021, automates paperwork related to sample testing, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and reduced compliance costs. Customs Officers can electronically select laboratories, generate Test Memos, and view test reports through the system. Laboratories will not accept samples without electronic Test Memos, except in rare cases with approved paper Test Memos. Any issues should be reported to the Principal Commissioner of Customs.
