of <h1>Final Hearing for Ineligible Drawback Claims Set for March 2024; Submit Replies to Avoid Ex-Parte Decisions</h1> Attention is drawn to Public Notice No. 34/2023 concerning defaulters in non-realization of export proceeds. Demand cum Show Cause Notices have been issued for ineligible drawback claims, with interest and penalties assigned to various Adjudication Authorities. Initial hearings were held in September and November 2023, with a final opportunity scheduled for March 6, 2024, before the Deputy Commissioner of Customs. Noticees are instructed to submit written replies and attend hearings either physically or virtually. Failure to respond will result in ex-parte decisions. Notices are being sent to all involved parties.
