of <h1>CBDT Extends TDS Deadlines for Odisha Due to Cyclone Fani: New Dates for Deposits, Statements, and Certificates.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes, under Section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has extended various deadlines to alleviate hardships faced by tax deductors in Odisha due to Cyclone Fani. The due date for depositing tax deducted at source (TDS) for April 2019 is extended to May 20, 2019. The deadline for filing the quarterly TDS statement for the last quarter of the financial year 2018-19 is moved to June 30, 2019. Additionally, the issuance of TDS certificates in Forms 16 and 16A is extended to July 15, 2019.
