Deadline Extended to December 31, 2024, for Electronic Filing of Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin via Digital Platform.
The deadline for mandatory electronic filing of Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) through the Common Digital Platform has been extended to December 31, 2024. Until then, exporters and designated issuing agencies can continue using manual or paper-based systems. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade encourages the use of the online platform and provides guidance through a help manual and FAQs. Issuing agencies must inform and encourage exporters to adopt the e-CoO platform. This extension follows a previous notice and aims to facilitate a smoother transition to the digital system.
