of <h1>Gold-import returns by AD Category-I banks migrate to CIMS portal; stop legacy XBRL, upload 'NIL' if none, effective 26 Dec</h1> AD Category-I banks must cease submission of specified gold-import returns on the legacy XBRL platform and, with effect from 26 December 2023, submit the two returns-Import of gold by EOUs, units in SEZ/EPZ and nominated agencies (monthly) (R132) and (half-yearly) (R133)-via the Centralised Information Management System (CIMS) portal; where no data exists, a 'NIL' report must be uploaded. This direction implements migration of statutory reporting to the new data-collection system and is issued under the powers of RBI pursuant to Sections 10(4) and 11(1) of FEMA, 1999.
