Importers must provide the CAS number and IUPAC name for bulk and basic chemicals, formulations, mixtures, and proprietary components. If unavailable due to supplier confidentiality, a self-undertaking must be included in the Bill of Entry. These requirements apply to imports filed from October 15, 2023, and exports from October 1, 2023. The details will be masked in the Bill of Entry, supplementing existing declarations.
