of <h1>India Announces New RoDTEP Rates for Export Sectors Under Customs Tariff Chapters 28, 29, 30, and 73.</h1> The Government of India's Department of Revenue has announced the implementation of RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) rates for additional export sectors and items, effective from December 15, 2022. This update follows the Department of Commerce's Notification No. 47/2015-20, dated December 7, 2022, which revises Appendix 4R to include new rates for sectors under Customs Tariff Chapters 28, 29, 30, and 73. Exporters can claim RoDTEP benefits for shipping bills filed in the Customs EDI System from the specified date. Any issues should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs, Chennai-IV.
