of <h1>Ahmedabad Customs Invites Chartered Engineers for Machinery Evaluation; Apply by Oct 20, 2023, per CBIC Circular No.07/2020.</h1> The Principal Commissioner of Customs in Ahmedabad has issued a public notice inviting applications for the empanelment of Chartered Engineers to evaluate second-hand and other machinery items. This follows guidelines from CBIC Circular No.07/2020-Customs. Interested Chartered Engineers must submit their applications by October 20, 2023, using the provided proforma. Those already empaneled under Public Notice No. 11/2023 need not reapply. The empanelment is valid for one year, with a preference for applicants with specialized engineering experience. Selected engineers must submit biannual performance reports. Trade associations are urged to disseminate this notice to their members.
