of <h1>New Warehouse in Chennai Designated as 'Customs Area' for Export Cargo u/s 8(b) of Customs Act.</h1> A newly constructed Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Warehouse, measuring 20,000 square feet within the premises of a company in Sathangadu village, Manali, Chennai, has been declared a 'Customs Area' for handling export cargo. This designation, effective from April 17, 2023, is made under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, by the Commissioner of Customs, Chennai-IV. The procedures for handling export cargo will adhere to the Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009, and relevant public notices. The warehouse's GPS coordinates are included in the public notice.
