Compliance extensions possible.</h1> Public Notice 02/2023 addresses Customs Brokers and stakeholders regarding amendments to the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018. The notice mandates that each Customs Broker must enroll as a member of the Customs Brokers' Association in every jurisdiction where they operate, provided such an association is registered and recognized by the relevant Customs authority. Brokers are prohibited from enrolling in more than one association within the same jurisdiction. Additionally, provisions allow for extensions in compliance deadlines due to uncontrollable circumstances. Customs Brokers in Tuticorin are specifically advised to join the Tuticorin Customs Brokers Association.
