of <h1>Amnesty Scheme 2023: Settle Bona Fide Defaults in Export Obligations with Capped Interest by September 30, 2023.</h1> The Amnesty Scheme, as outlined in Notification No. 32/2023-Customs, allows Advance Authorisation and Export Promotion Capital Goods holders to settle defaults in export obligations. The scheme, effective from April 26, 2023, permits regularization of bona fide defaults by paying applicable customs duties and capped interest, excluding Additional Customs Duty and Special Additional Customs Duty. Registration must be completed by June 30, 2023, with payments due by September 30, 2023. The scheme excludes cases involving fraud or unauthorized activities. No CENVAT Credit or Refund claims are allowed on duties paid under this scheme.
