This appointment, effective for two years, follows a concession agreement with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) for the operation and maintenance of the port terminal. NSFT must comply with the Customs Act, 1962, and other regulations. The terminal's operation is contingent upon obtaining insurance and submitting required documents, failing which the appointment will be void.
