of <h1>Jamnagar Customs Restores Undertaking Option for Clearance Amid COVID-19; Valid Until June 30, 2021, Per Circular 17/2020.</h1> The Customs Commissionerate in Jamnagar has announced the restoration of a facility allowing importers and exporters to submit an undertaking instead of a bond for Customs clearance, due to challenges posed by the COVID-19 lockdown. This measure, initially introduced in Circular No. 17/2020, is reinstated from the date of this notice until June 30, 2021. Undertakings must be replaced with proper bonds by July 15, 2021. The terms from the previous circulars remain unchanged. Stakeholders are advised to contact the Additional Commissioner for any difficulties. This notice serves as a directive for Customs department staff.
