of <h1>GST Rate for Sprinkler and Drip Irrigation Systems Revised to 12% Under Entry 195B.</h1> The circular clarifies the GST tax rate applicable to sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, including laterals, under entry No. 195B of Schedule II to notification No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate). Initially, all goods under HS8424 were taxed at 18%, but the GST Council recommended a 12% rate for micro irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip irrigation systems with laterals. This entry was inserted to ensure that sprinkler systems, consisting of nozzles and laterals, are taxed at 12%. Any issues should be reported to the Commissioner of Taxes, Manipur.
