IBBI Updates Fees for Insolvency Professionals and Entities: New Rates Effective October 1, 2022.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has revised the fee structure for Insolvency Professionals (IPs) and Insolvency Professional Entities (IPEs) through amendments to its regulations. Effective from October 1, 2022, the changes include increased application, annual, and regulatory fees. The new rates are Rs. 20,000 for individual IP registration and Rs. 2,00,000 for IPE recognition. Annual fees for IPs and IPEs are now 1% of professional fees and turnover, respectively. Additionally, a 0.25% regulatory fee on the realisable value under approved resolution plans is introduced. Payments should be credited to IBBI's specified bank account.
