of <h1>Companies Can Hold AGMs via Video Conference Until June 30, 2022, Per New Circular; Statutory Deadlines Unchanged.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued a circular allowing companies to conduct Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for the financial year ending on or before March 31, 2022, via Video Conference (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) until June 30, 2022. This extension follows previous circulars and does not extend the statutory deadlines for holding AGMs under the Companies Act, 2013. Companies failing to meet the prescribed timelines may face legal action as per the Act's provisions. The circular has been approved by the Competent Authority.
