of <h1>New GST Feature Allows Restoration of Cancelled Registrations Based on Judicial or Appellate Orders Effective March 23, 2022.</h1> A new functionality called 'Restoration of Cancelled Registration' has been implemented effective March 23, 2022, to help jurisdictional Range officers restore GST registrations based on judicial or appellate orders. This development addresses issues where registrations were cancelled either suo motu by Range officers or upon taxpayers' requests, and subsequently ordered to be restored by higher authorities. A step-by-step guide is provided for officers to use this functionality. The vendor is obligated to fix any defects within 30 days of deployment. Officers are advised to report any issues to the designated helpdesk for resolution.
