of <h1>Kerala GST Department Releases Circular on Informant Reward Scheme Procedures, Including Documentation and Verification Steps.</h1> The State Goods and Services Tax Department of Kerala issued Circular No. 01/2021 detailing procedures for managing informers under the Scheme for Grant of Reward to Informants and Government Servants, 2020. Information received from informers must be recorded in duplicate on plain paper with the informer's Left Thumb Impression (LTI) and the details of the recording official. The information, along with an undertaking, is to be securely stored in sealed envelopes and maintained in an AE-1 register. An AE-2 document will outline officials' roles during investigations. Rewards are disbursed after verifying the informer's LTI.
